holden family experience

A couple of weekends ago we celebrated Jesse’s 28th birthday with some family and friends.  If you know my husband well, you know that he is totally awed by this infamous superhero and has developed quite a collection over the years. Well, this year his mom unveiled a quilt she had been working on for two years that was a tribute to, you guessed it, SUPERMAN.  This is no ordinary quilt.  My words….LABOR of LOVE.  Of course J had been awaiting this gift for a long time and was completely giddy with excitement. 

It was a great day to celebrate and Superman definitely swooped down for the day take Jesse back to his childhood days. So Happy Birthday Jesse and we celebrate not only your birth 28 years ago but that this year on April 5th, my Jesse has been cancer free for three precious years.  God has been so faithful to SUPERnaturally heal and rescue us!
